Only one of 10 Nantucket deeds carries a sale price so far this period
Ten property transfers were recorded at the Nantucket County Registry of Deeds from Aug. 28 through Sept. 26, but only one includes a sale price so far: $2,170,000 for 161 Orange Street Lot A, sold by Orange Street L P to North Easton Savings Bank. The other nine sales, including transactions on Cato Lane, Bailey Road, Marble Way, Paupamo Way, Trotters Lane, Lewis Court and Green Meadows, have not yet posted consideration amounts to the registry. Six of the 10 transfers listed a bank, mortgage servicer or government entity as seller. With price data this sparse, the period cannot yet be characterized as active or quiet; a fuller picture should emerge as prices post in coming days.
