Nantucket Deed Filings Show Wide Price Disclosure Gap in Late Summer
Nantucket recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price. Those ranged from $637,325 to $915,000, with a median of $776,162. The period's top disclosed sale was 5 Delaney Road at $915,000, sold by Katie Bedell to Watertown Savings Bank. Lending institutions appeared as buyer or seller in five filings, and Nantucket Town or its conservation program was party to four others. With price data disclosed on just 2 of 12 deeds, the available records offer only a partial picture of the month's market activity.
