Six property transfers were recorded in Nantucket between September 4 and October 3, but only one, 12 Atlantic Avenue at $1,700,000, had a posted sale price by press time; the other five await pricing data from the registry, a normal lag rather than withheld information. Van Gilder Avenue saw two separate transfers the same day. Four of the six deeds listed a bank or trust company as seller. With pricing data incomplete for most of the month's sales, the overall tone of the market cannot be assessed from this dataset alone.
