Trudell said the ADU rewrite exists so towns don't "open the door to the fourth dwelling unit." The panel also backed continued rezoning of RC and RC2 districts, now down to about 10 and 50 acres from historic highs near 80 and 1,400, including the Galley, Cliffside Beach Club and the Toscana property. One rezoning article was pulled for re-advertising after a property-owner mix-up.
