Nantucket Cemetery Commission votes to install Boston family monument at 9:30 a.m. on Juneteenth. The commission separately approved final wording for a granite memorial stone at Quaker Cemetery, with a contractor identified as Johnny cleared to proceed to sandblasting. Town staff member Jason reported that a ground-penetrating radar survey was wrapping up at Old North Cemetery and that surveying firm Blackwell is under contract to perform a boundary retracement and install four concrete monuments at Newtown Cemetery, with that contract heading to the Select Board around April 1.
