Nantucket Deeds Show Eight Property Transfers, Just One Discloses Sale Price
Eight properties changed hands in Nantucket between July 17 and Aug. 15, according to newly recorded deeds, but only one transaction disclosed a sale price: 47 Morey Lane, which sold for $3,500,000 on July 17 in a transfer from two individual trustees to the Stephanie R. Waltrip Revocable Trust. With just one of eight prices disclosed, that same figure serves as the period's low, high and median sale price. The other seven recorded transfers included a bank-to-buyer sale on Miacomet Avenue, a municipal purchase on Meadow Lane by the town of Nantucket, and a same-family transfer on East York Street. The data show limited price transparency this period rather than a clear read on market direction.
